Shag @ Hair Fair 2010

I was thrilled to see Shag at Hair Fair 2010.   Guys will love it as they made guy hair, which you can see blogged by Gasolinealex Serevi on YouStyleSL.   I’m doing three hair styles for girls, one being this great hat hair called These Things.  It features color-change hat, and band, and this cute low ponytail down the back.  Shag also made this thick braided pony called Let Me Kiss You with whisps escaping the braids.  It’s very casual, and very cute.  I love the hair they have set for charity called Breathe.  It’s a full big hair, a bit tousled.  It’s easily my favorite of their Hair Fair 2010 release, and I am in love with their chestnut shade now enough to wonder what color have I been wearing all this time from them.  Hair Fair 2010 is ongoing through September 19th.  To see what stores or get slurls to it , click here.   This year Hair Fair charity hair styles, and bandanas donations go to help pay for custom-made Wigs for Kids.

I chose Breathe with this dress I picked up from Gizza Creations.   This empire dress is full of color and movement, a bright happy dress to spend Labor Day in.  I’ve piled on the jewelry for a little tropical end of summer glitz, all of it from YS&YS, added more color with my makeup/skin from Chaisuki and grounded it with these summery Maitreya Gold  IXKin’s in cocoa.

Moonlight Peacock Gown shown above is a great example of some of the beautiful designs coming out at HOB. This light flowing ballgown with a full skirt has two distinct looks. With or without the over shaw can add class, couture, and elegance to any formal night out. Bliss designs the sculpty shaw to lay perfectly over the shoulders, light and lovely as can be.

The Water Dragon gown, shown here in purple and white is a personal favorite. This eccentric gown flows in every direction, demanding attention no matter who is wearing it. The tiny lace shoulders accent the curvaceous bodice and form fitting mermaid style skirt. Need a swirl of color?  This is the gown for you.

Last but certainly not least, Demonia is another breathtaking design from HOB. This gown made it into my favorites file almost instantly.  The alluring curves, and cuts of this perfectly fitting gown would stop traffic. Highlighted with dark circles and droplet shaped tears. Demonia swirls over your body beautifully with an additional headpiece that accents perfectly.  There are not enough words to describe the beauty that is HOB, simply stop by her store and see for yourself the gorgeous designs of Beningborough

This week I had the pleasure of talking to Polyester Partridge owner and creator of (Yummy) , we had a lovely chat and below is a peek into the mind of such one of the most funniest and creative people in Second Life!

The Following is from our pre-interview:

What brought you to SL and what made you go the way of become a creator ?

I’ve always been into graphic chats for as long as I can remember. Most recently, I shifted from there.com and slowly migrated over to SL

If we where able to see Polyester Partridge when you were a “Noob” what would we see you doing?

What is the strangest interaction you have ever had with some one?

Probably the unicorn incident of 07′.
A few of us posted a few pictures of our avatars holding baby unicorns that you received after a unicorn “took you from behind” in some RP sim. Turns out some Norwegian newspaper thought it was super interesting and wrote an article about it, complete with our pictures and the title SEX-SHOCK IN “SECOND LIFE”

You make some darling items, what is your favorite that you have made? Do you model anything you make after anything you own IRL?

I’m going to have to say my fanny packs are my favorite. I use to have a bright pink one when I was younger but its gone now.

I was at the Festival this summer and was able to witness your Rap Battle between you and Nylon, is it safe to say you wont be turning into sl’s next singing superstar?
Nylon and I are coming out with a rap battle album next year, its gonna drop early 2012, PEACE.

If you could make a rule all sl users had to follow what would it be? Why did you choose this rule?

No horses, because they are really really laggy.

Had you not become a creator where would you be present day?

Probably doing something more productive outdoors

and the question I am asking everyone

If you could have dinner with any one dead or alive who would it be? Then if you could have dinner with anyone in SL who would that be?

I’d have dinner with some one who’d pay the bill!
In SL I’d have dinner with Vintage McMillan because he’s the only avatar I know that has a huge dining table
